When FADD Studio approached me to film their latest project, Clermont Residence, they aimed for a fresh and innovative approach. Instead of featuring people, the goal was to create a film focusing solely on the residence’s design and ambiance through sounds and elements typical of a home. To achieve this, I developed a concept centered around using sound effects to evoke the daily life and atmosphere of Clermont Residence. The film creatively incorporates sounds such as the gentle flow of water, the subtle crackle of an incense stick, and the comforting sound of someone sipping tea, blending them with ambient noise to create a rich, sensory experience. This approach not only highlights the architectural and design details but also immerses viewers in the experience of living within the residence. The result is a unique portrayal that emphasizes the sensory aspects of the home, showcasing the beauty and functionality of Clermont Residence through an engaging and unconventional lens.
