The Hampi Art Labs, designed by architect Sameep Padora of sp+a, represent a harmonious blend of innovation and historical context, commissioned by the JSW Foundation. This architectural gem, nestled in the culturally rich landscape of Hampi, reflects a deep appreciation for the region's heritage while embracing contemporary design principles. In crafting this narrative-driven film, I embarked on a journey to capture the essence of the project. The process began with insightful interviews with Ms. Sangita Jindal, the Chairperson of the JSW Foundation, and Sameep Padora. Their shared vision and conceptual framework provided a profound understanding of the project's goals and aspirations. The film then took me to Hampi, where I meticulously documented the Art Labs' unique features and their integration into the historical landscape. The resulting film vividly portrays the seamless dialogue between modern architectural elements and the timeless beauty of Hampi, offering viewers an immersive experience of this visionary project.
